Every year during the second week of June, Vermont Slate Tours will host an exclusive gathering for slate roofing professionals from across North America.

This is more than a tour.

It is the ultimate American slate experience. Spend three unforgettable days exploring active slate quarries, meeting legendary quarry owners and workers, and experiencing the history, craftsmanship, and culture that built the slate roofing industry.

Meet the people behind the stone, many with over 60 years dedicated to the trade, and gain rare behind-the-scenes access that few in the industry ever get to experience.
